Le Mans 24 Hours Drivers Parade

We’re rapidly approaching the 80th running of the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans so here’s a potted guide to what’s happening when; even if you’re not going to the race itself, the spectacular (and free!) Drivers’ Parade takes place in the centre of Le Mans itself on Friday, with all the drivers, the 2012 cars, world supercars, classic racers, a procession of Harley-Davidsons, dancers, bands and more.

22:00 – 24:00 Qualifying
Thursday, 14 June 19:00 – 21:00 Qualifying
22:00 – 24:00
Friday, 15 June 17:30 – 19:30 Drivers’ Parade in Le Mans City centre

15:00 Race start 24 Hours of Le Mans
Sunday, 17 June 15:00 Race finish 24 Hours of Le Mans

Le Mans Drivers’ Parade Friday 15th June

Parade opens with a ride-past of Harley-Davidsons at 17h30

The parade will include:

  • Drivers and Teams Parade
  • World Supercars from “Bell & Ross Supercars”
  • Electric cars
  • Corvettes
  • British Racing Green Heritage Cars
  • Ford GT40s
  • Sainte Jeanne d’Arc Marching Band from Holland
  • Band Majorettes of Hesingor from Denmark)
  • Brazilian Dancing Troupe
  • The Bellevue Brass Band

Parade ends with Harley-Davidsons at 19h30
